This page can lead you to an adventure of a life time. Whether you are an arm chair adventurer, or you decide to get into it up to your elbows, this may be the place for you. The treasure of Poverty Island has been a legend in print for more than 100 years. There may very well be newspaper stories that date back much further. The news article (on the member site) from the 1940's speaks of two University of Michigan divers who followed the legend of Poverty Island. The question is, where did they read about it? How far back did their source push the legend? There are many questions to answer before the Poverty Island Treasure is found. It is simple to join our
group. There are no meetings, no dues, and we share ideas and comments. Here's how it works buy
either the 'Deep Quest-The Entry' book by Richard Bennett and send in the
certificate in the back of the book. No copies please, they will be rejected. Or
buy the 'Poverty Island Brief ' and you are part of our band of merry
treasure hunters. We
share ideas through e-mails, without it I can't pass along any information to the
group. Why would you give up a valuable secrete you have discovered? After 44 Years
of my re-searching there are still parts of the puzzle missing. I feel a thousand brains
investigating a subject has to come up with some new facts. At what point is the
puzzle reveled? Who knows. Think of this 'Treasure Hunters Group' like people of the
television program 'Wheel of Fortune', three or four people all see parts of the
puzzle at the same time. One will put it all together and win. Do I have a
better chance than most? Probably, but then I've invested a lot more than most. The one thing I can't control is the moment you find that one extra
piece of the puzzle. If you by the new release of The 'Poverty Island Brief
2010' you will receive the latest entries into the brief as of June 6, 2010.
From that point on we will be adding new facts as we review and qualify them. Some of the Information revealed to club members has never been divulged to the newspapers or television. (1) The historical tree that gives a pictorial view of who, when, where and how (as much as we know now) of where the legend started and where it leads is in the Poverty Island Brief . (2) Some of the newspaper articles and book references relating to the stories of The Poverty Island Treasure are at the hot key below. (3) Chat room. Where members may contribute to the legend. Any facts that are valid will be considered for the historical tree. Newspaper Articles 2 minute download at 56k |
